On the northern most tip of Zanzibar is the village of Nungwi. Surrounded o­n three sides by gorgeous white sands and surf, this o­nce rustic boat building village is now a vacationing hotspot. Zanzibar’s east coast is lined with white ribbons of beach. Both Kiwengwa Beach and Matemwe Beach Village offer vacationers peaceful days of relaxation. The beaches o­n the east coast of Zanzibar are framed by a long barrier reef. The long sloping beaches coupled with the reef make for perfect snorkeling adventures, or take a guided paddle boat trip to the reef during low tide and experience the beauty from above the water.

Stone Town Beach
